A fun challenging yoga class grounded in a creative sequence of postures. Focused on warming the entire body, activating under-used muscles, increasing spinal mobility, strengthening the core, lengthening over-used muscles, linking mind-breath-movement and developing overall proprioceptive awareness. Sequences include a series of seated, standing, balancing, and reclined postures to increase overall body strength and expand overall range of motion. Postures are performed in combination with one another, often repeated for stamina, and in a slow movement patters or held for 5 breaths. The class both prepares the body for athletic pursuits and helps it recover from everyday physical demands and athletic performance.
